Norah K. Donovan

1953-1955

Norah K. Donovan graduated from NYU Law School in 1945 and was admitted in 1946. She served for many years as the attorney in charge of copyright matters for the American Broadcasting Company. She was also an officer and Corporate Secretary of the Audio and Video Products Corporation during the 1950’s. She held numerous leadership positions in the NYWBA, and past Presidents fondly remember her accomplishments, athletic prowess, and sense of fun. After her Presidency, she was appointed to chair several New York County Lawyers’ Association committees, including the Municipal Court Committee, the Committee on Discipline, and the Committee on the Unlawful Practice of Law. She was also involved in charitable works.
