When it went into effect in 2021, the Child-Parent Security Act (CPSA) revolutionized the legal parentage process for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers and created new paths to parenthood by legalizing compensated gestational surrogacy. Join us for an interdisciplinary panel featuring professionals who interact with the CPSA daily as we discuss the law’s impact on LGBTQ+ parents and families in New York nearly five years on.
