Transnational Commercial Surrogacy to India:
Economic Empowerment or Exploitation?

India prohibited transnational surrogacy several years ago and now is considering a bill to ban commercial surrogacy completely. This panel will explore the human rights, feminist, anti-commodification, and other perspectives on the debate about the ban on surrogacy in the context of India.
