Wine Tasting with Professor Christopher Buccafusco

More

February 4, 2021 6:00 pm

Please join the NYWBA Events Committee for a Zoom wine tasting led by Cardozo Law School professor (and noted wine drinker) Christopher Buccafusco. Throughout the pandemic he has been hosting a wine tasting series called “Case of the Week” for Cardozo students and alumni. Prof. Buccafusco will lead attendees through the basics of wine tasting, including how to tell different wines apart, how to pair wine with food, and how to order wine at a restaurant (soon to be an important skill again).

Date: Thursday, February 4, 2021
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location By Zoom. Zoom link will be provided to registrants prior to the event.
Wine: To get the most out of the tasting, Prof. Buccafusco recommends buying two different wines, either two whites or two reds. He will be tasting the wines from Josh Cellars: Sauvignon Blanc & Chardonnay (whites) and Pinot Noir & Cabernet Sauvignon (reds). These wines are widely available, but you should feel free to open anything you like (or just follow along with the beverage of your choice).
Cost: FREE for members and non-members, but you must provide your own wine (not included with tour).
