"What it's (Really) Like to Practice Law as a Woman" - On July 22, 2009, summer associates, interns, and new lawyers participated in our terrific annual program that featured an outstanding panel of women attorneys who provided unique insights on practicing law as a woman. The program was sponsored by the New York Women's Bar Association and the New York City Bar (Committees on Law Student Perspectives, Sex and the Law, and Women in the Profession) and was held at the City Bar. NYWBA Kicked Off its 75th Anniversary Year at its Annual Dinner on June 9, 2009. The NYWBA held its Annual Installation and Awards Dinner on June 9, 2009 at Capitale, on the Bowery. The Association presented the President's Special Award to the Hon. Jonathan Lippman, Chief Judge of the State of New York, and the Doris S. Hoffman Service Award to Lisa A. Bauer.
