Myra L. Freed

Myra L. Freed has specialized in matrimonial law for more than 30 years. She has been the principal of her own law firm in Manhattan since 2002. She also practices Collaborative Law and serves as a private pay Attorney for the Child. Myra graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the City College of New York and received her JD from the Cardozo School of Law. Myra continues to serve on the Board of Directors of the New York Women’s Bar Association, where she has been an officer and director for more than 20 years. She has served as Chair and Co-Chair of the NYWBA’s Matrimonial Law Committee. She also served on and Co-Chaired the Matrimonial Law Committee of WBASNY, and as a NYWBA Delegate to the WBASNY Board of Directors. She is a member of the NYCLA Matrimonial Law Section, the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York.  In 2007, she received the NYWBA’s Doris S. Hoffman Service Award for her commitment to serving the Association and enhancing the status of women in society and the law.
