Annual Membership Meeting, Elections and Ethics CLE Program

Please join us at the Annual Meeting.

Following the Annual Meeting, a panel of distinguished ethics attorneys will present an ethics CLE program.

Lawyers Behaving Badly: Sanctions, Suspensions and General Shenanigans

Every day, there seems to be another news report about a lawyer being taking to task for some kind of bad behavior. Lying to the court, discovery violations, frivolous claims, and even personal
misbehavior can lead to court sanctions, disciplinary action, and – in extreme cases – criminal charges; not to mention reputational harm, loss of clients, termination of employment, and other professional consequences. In this program, a panel of experts discusses why so many lawyers are getting into trouble and what we can learn from their mistakes, using examples ripped from the headlines.
